Art does belong

Me♄Melbourne= Wonderful city, amazing shopping, cool people and spring in the air..

My top tips so far:

Shopping in CBD- Flinder’s lane, Little Collins St and ohhh GPO mall that was the best of the best ever- didn’t want to leave- Acne, Willows, Sass& Bide, Zimmerman etc all under one beautiful roof..I have to write a whole other post about Sass& Bide..I have never seen a better collection, from any designer- this is pure love!!!

Eat at Pellegrino’s for the atmosphere, service and Italian cool rather then the food- and don’t forget to order a watermelon Granita!

Fitzroy- Spend an afternoon here and browse Brunswick and Gertrude street for vintage and independent fashion as well as tons of Street art- Have lunch at Arcadia or De Clieu next door.

St Kilda- for the beach vibe and some great vintage shops ex Velour and Frocks And Slacks.

For food I heard you should try Il Fornaio- but unfortunately it was closed so come before 17!

More to come..

'Not 'Latte' that just means milk- 'Caffe latte' means coffe& milk..love it! seen at Pellegrino's

Helen Levitt

One of my newly discovered favorite photographers- Just saw her exhibition at Fotografiska in Stockholm and I got so inspired!

Some of the best street photography I have ever seen and the exhibition consists of over 120 photographs, the majority of which are vintage prints- I want every single one..(christmas gift hint to my dear family:)

Read more here and go there to see it if you haven’t already been!

(I also recommend their Sunday brunch..extremely good and well worth the money!)
