Kyoto, Part 3

My best tip when visiting Kyoto is to rent bikes, it was a great way to navigate through the beautiful city.

Kyoto, Part 2- Giro Giro Hitoshina

One of the highlights of our stay in Kyoto was this amazing little restaurant located south of Shijo street where narrow alleys are lined with tiny bars and one-counter eateries- one of the most charming areas i have ever been too, I really fell in love!

The food was great and all dishes were creatively presented with beautiful porcelain- it was like eating art! But the highlight was definitely the amazing, hip staff with creative haircuts trying to explain all dishes in english- soo cute!

Hiroshima, Part 1

After a weekend in Tokyo we made a quick stop in Hiroshima to visit the peace memorial museum and to see the Hiroshima peace park where the nuclear bomb was dropped 1945- extremely interesting.

The rest of the day we strolled around the town that was filled with cute cafes, restaurants, small shops and trendy people.

Love the umbrella holder on the bike!

Fuji sleeping beauties

I have never been to a festival with so many people taking naps allover the place..or is it cause japanese people can’t drink more then a beer before they pass out? Anyhow i thought it was quite cute with all the resting people around the forest..
