The russian market- Phnom Penh

We took a quick stop at the russian market which we thought would be a great place for inspiration..we were wrong!

It was like going to a hot yoga class plus the smell of rotten food and cheap high street leftovers from a few years back..not for me but Hanna bought some silver earrings and a kissing pig, i guess thats something..

Dinner at Metro- Phnom Penh

After a sweaty day at the factories we went to Sisowath Quay which is a buzzling area with restaurants and bars by the riverside.

We got a tip by Hannas friend that lives here so we went to a restaurant called Metro which was really good- so i recommend this place as well.

Adress: Corner Sisowath Quay & Street 148

We had many small dishes like the seared tuna, goat cheese salad, beijing duck pancakes, fresh shrimp spring rolls..and the food gormandizing continued..

Lunch At Mali- Phnom Penh

So now we have arrived to Phnom Penh, and it is HOT!!

A lot of work to do so not so much time for blogging but we had lunch at a fantastic restaurant called Malis that i really recommend if you are visiting this city- It was traditional cambodian food and it was amazing..our chinese collegues were in chock cause we ate so much!

We also found out what our chinese names are- now i dont know how to spell it in chinese but mine was the girl with 7 shoes..cause they think i have so many shoes by my desk at work..soo funny!

Hannas name ment tall girl- if you look at the second picture you will see what they mean!

Cambodia

Today we will leave on a worktrip to Cambodia- it will be so exciting to see all our big factories and wash mills over there and i am really looking forward to it!

Last time i was in Cambodia was 3 years ago but then it was vacation- We stayed in Phnnom Penh for a few days at a fantastic Guesthouse called Bodditree- check out the link:

http://www.boddhitree.com/boddhitree_del.php

Then we took a bus to the fantastic beachtown Sihanoukville where we stayed in a bungalow on the hills called Cloud 9.

It was a fantastic vacation and i really recommend you to visit Cambodia before it gets too exploited- i dont know how Thailand was 15 years ago but i can imagine it was similar to how Cambodia was when we were there..GO!

This picture is from Boddhi tree in Phnom Penh

View from the FCC bar- nice place for a afternoon drink but of course very very touristy!

After some days of chaos in the big city we arrived to paradise! This is the view from Cloud 9 restaurant- the Amokka here was the best thing i have ever eaten- a true piece of heaven!!

Daiqiri hut on the more secluded beach Otres was another favorite hangout! Their fresh mango daiquiri was to die for!

I will update you with more fresh pictures before the week is over!
